Quick marinated mushrooms are a simple and delicious recipe that will allow you to prepare appetizing mushrooms at home. Mushrooms, soaked in a fragrant marinade, will become a great addition to various dishes, whether it’s salads, sandwiches, or side dishes. It’s incredibly easy to prepare marinated mushrooms. This appetizer will always be handy alongside a main course and can replace any salad on the lunch table.

- Mushrooms champignons 500 g
- Water 1 liter
- Bay leaf 1
- Black peppercorns 5
- Dried marjoram 1 tsp
- Table vinegar 9% 80 ml
- Salt 1.5 tsp
- Sugar 1 tbsp
- Olive oil 1 tbsp

Wash the mushrooms. Boil them in slightly salted water for 5 minutes. Then drain the boiled mushrooms in a colander. Prepare the vegetables. Finely chop the onion, slice the garlic.

Prepare the marinade. Bring 1 liter of water to a boil together with bay leaf, black pepper, and marjoram. Boil for about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and add salt, sugar, vinegar, and olive oil.

Cut the mushrooms in half if they are large, but it’s better to leave small mushrooms whole. Place them in a deep ceramic dish (e.g. a liter jar). Sprinkle with pepper cubes on top, then add layers of sliced onion, garlic, and dill until the end.

Pour in the hot marinade and cover with a lid. Let it cool down, then place it in the refrigerator. The mushrooms will be ready in 12 hours.
